This week’s knitting goal: finish Curtis’ scarf. Another couple of nights of knitting while movie watching should do it; it’s at least 60-70% done.

This weekend and next week: tackle Lady Eleanor.

Then I will go back to new things.

I indulged myself at Alamitos Bay Yarn Company this past Saturday after working at a nearby clinic. During the month of your birthday, you can choose one day on which to have 20% taken off your purchases. I bought some Lamb’s Pride for Christmas present gifts, the Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Walker, size 6 ebony circulars, and a tiny ball of rich brown qiviut for a scarf for me. (Unless, of course, I knit it up and give it away like I do most of my FOs.)
