Tunis Sheep

April 8th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Whenever I wonder if people read my blog, I find out they do!

Regarding Tunis sheep: I don’t blame the entire breed for my bad experience — I do think it was the particular roving I had (purchased off of eBay*). I would certainly try Tunis wool again.

*Like any brand new spinner, especially one with an interest in heritage and rare breeds, I bought an inordinate amount of roving and fleeces sight unseen last fall (breaking all the rules about buying fleeces (though I did think I’d be safer with prepared roving, oh well)).

    Hi Steph

The offer is open to you and anyone who contacts me directly and mentions your blog that I will happily supply you with a few ounces of raw Tunis for you all to play with so you can see what a fabulous wool this is.
