Welcome to my blog!

Welcome! Thanks for visiting my blog.

I haven’t blogged in years–and then, it was for my knitting blog, www.sunsetcat.com, covering, well, mostly knitting.

But other stuff, too. Our old house. Our yard–both California native plants, and gardening for food. Cooking. Food. Travel. Our pets.

Stuff I love.

Stuff that, if I think a tiny bit on it, that often pops up in my writing.

Of course, I’m going to touch on movies and TV I’m watching, books I’m reading, and music I’m listening to. Because that’s all part of the fun, too.

PS–the pic is from our most recent trip to Joshua Tree in December 2023.

Stonefruit Tasting Menu

Stonefruit Tasting Menu

I've mentioned in the past that my friend Mel and I like to plan and execute tasting menus! This one was from last summer, centered around stonefruit. Just wanted to share for inspiration, since this is right time of year (in the northern hemisphere) to tackle this!
